Thomas with the Crews Nest on Bowen Island Sailing in English Bay off Vancouver
With his years of experience sailing in various parts of the world (here in the Mirafores locks in Panama) he hopes to work as a liaison with the two city owned marinas Burrard Civic and Heather Marina in False creek. He would also like to work with local boaters, for instance to install a new filling station when we lose the present Esso Station in False Creek. This will force boaters to make a return trip under the Lions Gate Bridge to Coal Harbour for a refueling, or more likely........ try refueling themselves with 50 lb jerry cans of diesel causing an ecological disaster.
